Activating your Tuxedo eccount

  • To activate your Tuxedo MasterCard® or Maestro® Prepaid Card and eccount you will need proof of identity. There are no credit checks and no awkward questions to answer.

    To activate, choose from the following options:

    1. Confirm at least TWO of the following registered in your name:

    Home telephone number

    Full UK driving licence number

    That you’re registered on the Electoral Roll

    OR

    2. Send us a black and white photocopy of the photo page of your passport

    All nationalities are welcome. Some older style passports may require certification – contact Customer Care for assistance.

    For more information on machine readable passports and passports requiring certification please download the activation form available above.

  • If you’re unable to provide the information required, we may still be able to confirm your identity using other documents you may have, such as birth or marriage certificates, utility bills or benefits entitlement letters. Contact Customer Care for assistance.
